SUPPLIES, $200; <br />P -7242 MOTOR EQUIPMENT, $5,000, AND FROM V -11, ELECTRICAL <br />DEPARTMENT, SERVICES PERSONAL, $1,394.14 AND FROM V -2161 <br />TRAVELING EXPENSES, $118.11 TO V -724, MOTOR EQUIPMENT, $1,512.250 <br />AND FROM Q -11, FIRE DEPARTMENT, SERVICES PERSONAL, $4,000 TO <br />Q -251, REPAIRS OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, $4,000, AND FROM <br />T -261, TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT, OTHER CONTRACTUAL SERVICES, $300 <br />TO T -252, REPAIRS OF EQUIPMENT, $300. <br />The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Bestle made a motion <br />that the ordinance be referred to the Committee of the Whole for public hearing on October 27th, 1952. <br />Councilman Glass seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />RESOLUTION <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the Contract heretofore entered <br />into by and between the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, and the Rieth- <br />Riley Construction Company of South Bend, Indiana; for the paving of MIAMI STREET from the south line of Ewing <br />Avenue to the "south line of Ridgedale Road for the contract price of Fifty -six thousand,five.hundred eighty -six <br />dollars and no� cents ($56,586.00 is confirmed and approved. <br />CLOYD BESTLE <br />Member of the Common Uouncil <br />Councilman Hahn made a motion for the adoption of the resolution.
