REPORT OF CITY PLANNING W MMISSION October 18, 1965 The Honorable Common Council City of South Bend, South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to zone "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District approximately 11.7 acres lying east of Miami Road, North of Jackson Rd., and abutting the present city limits on the east was legally advertised under date of Mpy 24, 1965 and given public hearing on June 39 1965. The following action was taken: After due consideration the Commission found that the proposed zoning would be in keeping with the use to which the land is being putt. It was therefore moved by Mr. Taylor, seconded by Mr. West and unanimously carried that the petition be recommended favorably to the Council. Very truly yours, CITY PLANNING COMMISSION /s/ Phillip A. REPORT OF CITY PIANNING COMMISSION October 18, 1965 The Honorable Common Council City of South Bend South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to zone "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District an irregularly shaped tract of land generally described as lying East of Miami Road near Jackson Road and abutting the city limits on its southern boundary was legally advertised under date of August 23, 1965 and given Bgblic hearing on September 2, 1965. The following action was taken: After due consideration the Commission found that the proposed zoning would conform to the use to which the property is being put and allow for its further development. REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION October 20, 1965 The Honorable Common Council City of South Bend South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to zone 167.79 acres, more or less, generally between Colfax Road and the Toll Road and bounded on the east, south and west by the present city limits and fronting on Portage Road was legally advertised under date August 23, 1965 and given public hearing on September 2, 1965. The following action was taken at the October 14, 1965 meeting: After due consideration it was moved by Mr. Barkley, seconded by Mr. Kromkowski and unanimously carried that the Coddens petition be incorporated with this petition and recommended favorably to the Council since the proposed zoning is in the best interest of the subject property.
