REGULAR MEETING PETITION NORTH SIDE OF IRELAND RD. BETWEEN BROADMOOR SHOPPING CENTER AND A LINE APPROXIMATELY 170' WEST OF BROOKTON DRIVE TO: THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA The petitioner, The First Bank and Trust Company of South Bend, as trustee, respectfully petitions that Ordinance No. 3702, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, be amended by rezoning the following described real estate in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana, to -wit: Lots Numbered:Two Hundred Forty -seven (247) to Two Hundred Fifty -four (254), both inclusive, in the revised Plat of Broadmoor, Third Section, an Addition to the City of South Bend, from "A" residential and use district and "A" height and area district to "C" commercial ese district and "D" height and area district:.. Petitioner further states that it is the owner of all of the above described real estate. WHEREFORE., petitioner respectfully requests the Common-Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, accept and act favorably upon its said petition and that the above real estate be duly zoned as herein kequested. September 14, 1965 South Bend, Indiana PETITION TO AMEND ZONING ORDINANCE NO, 3702 AS AMENDED SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR "C" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT "F" HEIGHT AND AREA DISTRICT FOR THE PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 1305 OAKLAND ST., SOUTH BEND, INDIANA TO THE HONORABLE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA GENTLEMEN: J. Nuel Ellis, Comptroller and Executive Sectetary of The Wabash Conference Free Methodist Church of North America and Oscar Pace, hereby allege that they are the owners of the following described property known as Lot numbered 116,117, 118 in.Oakland Park Addition also known as 1305 Oakland Blvd., South Bend, Indiana The above described parcel of real estate is presently zoned "B" Residence District "A" Height and Area District. The petitioner proposes to sell the above described real estate upon receipt of properly zoning to one Frank Horka or his Nominee for the purpose of using the land for an office building site. The property zoning for the above described use therefore is "C" Commercial District "F" Height and Area District, therefore petitioner requests 1. That the Common Council refer this petition to the City Planning Commission for its consideration. 2. That upon recommendation by the City Planning Commission, the Common Council adopt an ordinance that will rezone the above described property from "B" residence District "A" Height and Area District to "C" Commercial District "F" Height and,Area District. /s/ Oscar Pace /s/ J.
