REPORT.OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO AND BRINGING WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, CERTAIN LANDS" Location: Commonly known as Jackson School Property. Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman Councilman Allen made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Geib seconded the motion. Motion carried. REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred " AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA ".:Location: Four and one -half acre tract in Centre Township, Quarter mile south of Jackson Road near York Road. Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /a/ Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman Councilman Allen made a motion that this report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Geib seconded the motion. Motion carried. REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "An ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 4, CHAPTER 16 of THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, BEING ORDINANCE 4329 AND REPEALING PORTIONS THEREOF. (Weed Ordinance) Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s /Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman Councilman Allen made a motion that this report be accepted and placed on file._, Councilman Geib seconded the motion. REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To-the Common Council of the City of South Bend Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE WATER WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND AND JORDAN MOTORS, INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE 1966 FORD 2h TON DUMP TRUCK IN THE SUM OF $3,243.35 ". Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance go to the Council as favorable /a/ Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman Councilman Allen made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS TO THE OTHER EQUIPMENT ACCOUNT OF THE CITY CEMETERIES DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $300.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM THE TREE TRIMMING ACCOUNT OF THE CITY CEMETERIES DEPARTMENT, ALL IN THE GENERAL FUND." REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred " AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS TO THE SUPPLIES ACCOUNT OF THE ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,335.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM THE SERVICES - PERSONAL ACCOUNT OF THE ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT, ALL IN THE GENERAL FUND."
