REGULAR MEETING " <br />REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br />June 7, 1965 <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached petition of William E. Gunn Jr, to rezone from "A" Residential Use to "B" Residential Use 305 <br />Manchester Drive was legally advertised under date of May 24, 1965 and given public hearing under date of <br />June 3, 1965. The following action was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found that the proposed <br />zoning would provide a buffer between the highway and commercial <br />uses and the dwellings to the north of the subject property. <br />It was therefore duly moved, seconded, and carried (5 -1) that <br />the petition be recommended favorably to the Council. <br />Very truly yours, <br />CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Robert L. Huff, cf /s/ <br />Director of Planning <br />RLH /cf <br />attach. <br />REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION <br />June 7, 1965 <br />The Honorable Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached petition of the Common Council to annex to the City of South Bend, Indiana approximately 11.7 <br />acres being generally described as East of Miami Road, North of Jackson Road and abutting the present city <br />limits on the east was legally advertised under date of May 24, 1965 and given public hearing on June 3, 1965. <br />The following action was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found that in their <br />considered opinion the six determinants of annexation apply <br />to the area. The following action was taken: <br />After due consideration the Commission found that the six <br />determinants of annexation apply to the area at issue.
