PRECONSTRUCTION AUDIO-VIDEO DOCUMENTATION <br />2024.00254 – Madison Lifestyle District Phase I Utility Design Water Main Replacement <br />013800 - 2 <br />3.1 COVERAGE OF RECORDING <br />A. The area to be recorded shall include, but not be limited to, all existing driveways, <br />sidewalks, curbs, ditches, streets, landscaping, trees, culverts, catch basins, headwalls, <br />retaining walls, fences, visible utilities, and all buildings located within the zone of <br />influence of construction. Of particular concern are any existing faults, fractures, defects, <br />or other imperfections exhibited by the above mentioned surface features. Audio <br />description shall be made simultaneously with and support the video coverage. <br />1. Streets: All streets adjacent to excavation sites shall be recorded for the full width <br />of the public right-of-way and for a length equal to 500 feet in each direction of <br />the anticipated excavation. <br />2. Easement Areas: Easement areas shall be recorded for the full width of the <br />perpetual and temporary easements and all other adjacent areas lying within 30 <br />feet of the easement. The size and locations of all easements are shown on the <br />Contract Drawings. <br />3. Building Exteriors: Contractor shall furnish audio and color video of all exterior <br />surfaces of buildings specifically identified by Owner to receive such coverage. <br />At a minimum, any structure or building shall be recorded if adjacent to sewer <br />installation or is expected to receive service as part of the project. Buildings so <br />identified may include houses, apartments, factories, warehouses, retail stores and <br />other structures. Exterior building coverage shall include, but not be limited to, <br />walls, visible foundations, chimney, porches, and trim. <br />4. Lots: Contractor shall also furnish audio and color video of portions of lots to <br />receive sanitary sewer service visible from the right-of-way. <br />3.2 LOCATION INFORMATION <br />A. All video shall properly identify location, date and project name in a manner acceptable to <br />Owner or Engineer. <br />B. A record of the contents of each video shall be supplied identifying each video by location, <br />date, and water stationing. <br />C. A brief report and inventory of all videos completed, referenced by location and video <br />number, shall be furnished to Owner or Engineer upon completion of the work and delivery <br />of the videos. <br />D. All video recordings shall begin with the date and time of recording, the project name, the <br />sheet numbers or engineering stationing as shown on the Contract Drawings, the name of <br />the street, easement or building being recorded, the direction of travel, and the viewing <br />side. <br />E. Houses and buildings shall be identified visually by house or building number, when <br />possible, in such a manner that the progress of the recording and the proposed system may <br />be located by reference to the houses and buildings. <br />3.3 ENTERING PROPERTY
