If it becomes necessary to enter onto private property, Contractor shall notify the owner of <br />such property at least 24 hours in advance of the planned entry to obtain their permission <br />to do so. Should the owner of the property refuse to give their permission for said entry, <br />Contractor shall notify Owner or Engineer. Contractor is advised that it shall not enter any <br />private property before permission is granted to do so or Owner or Engineer notifies <br />Contractor in writing that the legal right to enter the property has been obtained. Contractor <br />shall be held liable for entry made other than stated above. Contractor shall, at its own <br />expense, repair or restore any areas damaged during the work of this Section. <br />3.4 SITE RECORDING CONDITIONS <br />A. All recording shall be done during times of good visibility. No outside recording shall be <br />done during periods of visible precipitation or when the ground area is covered with snow, <br />leaves, or debris unless otherwise authorized in writing by Owner or Engineer. <br />B. In order to produce the proper detail and perspective, adequate auxiliary lighting will be <br />required to fill in shadow areas caused by trees, utility poles, road signs and other such <br />objects, as well as other conditions requiring artificial illumination. <br />C. The average rate of speed in the general direction of travel of the conveyance used during <br />recording shall not exceed 48 feet per minute. Panning rates and zoom-in zoom-out rates <br />shall be controlled sufficiently such that playback will produce adequate clarity of the <br />objects being viewed. <br />D. When conventional wheeled vehicles are used as conveyances for the recording, the <br />distance from the camera lens to the ground shall not be less than 8 feet to ensure proper <br />perspective. In instances where coverage will be required in areas not accessible to <br />conventional wheeled vehicles, such coverage shall be obtained by walking or by special <br />conveyance approved by Owner, but with the same requirements for disk quality and <br />content as specified herein except as may be specifically exempted by Owner in writing. <br />END OF SECTION 01 38 00
