<br />PRICE AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES
<br />2024.00254 Madison Lifestyle District Phase I Utility Design Water Main Replacement 012000 - 6
<br />a. Description: This work shall consist of all labor, equipment, and materials
<br />necessary to complete the installation of the valve and valve box including
<br />excavation, bedding, backfill, valve, valve box, and valve key extensions (if
<br />required).
<br />b. Basis of Payment: Per each (EA), complete in place.
<br />
<br />11. Item 11: 6-inch Pipe Abandon
<br />a. Description: This work shall consist of all labor, equipment, and materials
<br />necessary to complete the abandonment of the existing water main and all other
<br />appurtenances required.
<br />b. Basis of Payment: The acceptable quantities of pipe will be measured on a per
<br />linear foot (LF) basis.
<br />
<br />12. Item 12: Valve Box, Removal
<br />a. Description: This work shall consist of all labor, equipment, and materials
<br />necessary to complete the removal of a valve box on the abandoned water main
<br />including necessary excavation, backfill, and restoration.
<br />b. Basis of Payment: Per each (EA), complete in place.
<br />
<br />13. Item 13: 6-inch Line Stop
<br />a. Description: This work shall consist of all labor, equipment, and materials
<br />necessary to complete the installation of the line-stop valve to provide temporary
<br />closure of the existing main, sleeve, necessary fittings, cap, temporary joint
<br />restraint, necessary excavation, backfill, concrete thrust collars, excavation to
<br />locate and expose the main, protection of existing utilities, disinfection, and
<br />restoration.
<br />b. Basis of Payment: Per each (EA), complete in place.

<br />14. Item 14: 6-inch Ductile Iron Water Main, Restrained Joint
<br />a. Description: This work shall consist of all labor, equipment, and materials
<br />necessary to complete the installation of the water main including excavation,
<br />bedding, backfill, granular backfill, piping, fittings, joint restraint, connections to
<br />existing water main, polywrap, testing, chlorination tap and abandonment,
<br />disinfection, dechlorination, and all other appurtenances required
<br />Basis of Payment: The acceptable quantities of water main will be measured on a
<br />per linear foot (LF) basis, complete in place.

<br />15. Item 15: 2-inch Service Line
<br />a. Description: This work shall consist of all labor, equipment, and materials
<br />necessary to complete the installation of the water service including excavation,
<br />bedding, and backfill, piping, fittings, coupling, service saddle, corporation stop,
<br />reconnection to the existing water service, locator wire, testing, disinfection,
<br />dichlorination, and all other appurtenances required.
<br />b. Basis of Payment: The acceptable quantities of water service will be measured on a
<br />per linear foot (LF) basis, complete in place.

<br />16. Item 16: Asphalt Pavement Removal
<br />a. Description: This work shall consist of all labor, equipment, and materials
<br />necessary to complete the removal of existing pavement to facilitate installation of
<br />the water main including saw cutting, pavement edge protection, milling, asphalt
