<br />box including excavation, hauling and disposal, bedding, backfill, valve, valve
<br />box, joint restraint, valve key extensions (if required), connection to the existing
<br />water main, shut down of the existing water main (if required), and thrust block.
<br />b. Basis of Payment: Per each (EA), complete in place.

<br />5. Item 5: 8-inch Ductile Iron Water Main, Restrained Joint
<br />a. Description: This work shall consist of all labor, equipment, and materials
<br />necessary to complete the installation of the water main including excavation,
<br />hauling and disposal, bedding, backfill, granular backfill, piping, fittings (joint
<br />restraint required), caps, joint restraint, thrust blocks, dewatering, connections to
<br />existing water main, locator wire, polywrap, testing, chlorination tap and
<br />abandonment, disinfection, dechlorination, and all other appurtenances required.
<br />b. Basis of Payment: The acceptable quantities of pipe will be measured on a per
<br />linear foot (LF) basis, complete in place.

<br />6. Item 6: 12-inch Ductile Iron Water Main
<br />a. Description: This work shall consist of all labor, equipment, and materials
<br />necessary to complete the installation of the water main including excavation,
<br />hauling and disposal, bedding, backfill, granular backfill, piping, fittings, caps,
<br />joint, thrust blocks, dewatering, connections to existing water main, locator wire,
<br />polywrap, testing, chlorination tap and abandonment, disinfection, dechlorination,
<br />and all other appurtenances required.
<br />b. Basis of Payment: The acceptable quantities of pipe will be measured on a per
<br />linear foot (LF) basis for the pipe of the type and size specified, complete in place.

<br />7. Item 7: 12-inch Ductile Iron Water Main, Restrained Joint
<br />a. Description: This work shall consist of all labor, equipment, and materials
<br />necessary to complete the installation of the water main including excavation,
<br />hauling and disposal, bedding, backfill, granular backfill, piping, fittings (joint
<br />restraint required), caps, joint restraint, thrust blocks, dewatering, connections to
<br />existing water main, locator wire, polywrap, testing, chlorination tap and
<br />abandonment, disinfection, dechlorination, and all other appurtenances required.

<br />box including excavation, hauling and disposal, bedding, backfill, valve, valve
<br />box, joint restraint, valve key extensions (if required), connection to the existing
<br />water main, shut down of the existing water main (if required), and thrust block.
<br />b. Basis of Payment: Per each (EA), complete in place.

<br />9. Item 9: 2-inch Curb Stop
<br />a. Description: This work shall consist of all labor, equipment, and materials
<br />necessary to complete the installation of the curb stop and service shut-off box,
<br />including piping, fittings, couplings, locator wire, testing, and all other
<br />appurtenances required.
<br />b. Basis of Payment: Per each (EA), complete in place.
