Final Front End and Technical Specifications <br />4. IDEM Notice of Intent (NOI) to Construct a Water Main <br />V. Roadway Services <br />A. Maintenance of Traffic Design <br />American Structurepoint shall develop maintenance of traffic plans for 50%, 90%, and 100% <br />submittals as necessary for work associated with the water main extension and sanitary sewer lining <br />activities on W. Marion Street, N. Main Street, W. Madison Street, and N. Michigan Street. Design <br />shall be in accordance with the following anticipated water extension and sewer lining activities. <br />1. Sanitary Evaluation and Lining <br />a. No open cutting will be associated with the sanitary evaluation and lining. Work to occur <br />from manhole access points. Work can occur with traffic shifted away from access points <br />and will not require full road closure. <br />b. Maintaining through traffic is expected along Main St. from Marion St. to Lasalle Ave and <br />for the crossroads of Madison St. and Lasalle Ave. A road closure on Marion St. for <br />eastbound movements to Main St. is anticipated. <br />c. Maintaining through traffic is expected along Michigan St. from Marion St. to Lasalle Ave. <br />A road closure on Madison St. for eastbound movements from Michigan St. is anticipated. <br />d. A single phase maintenance of traffic plan is expected along Main Street while multiple <br />maintenance of traffic plan phases are anticipated along Michigan St. for each sanitary <br />line. <br />e. Pedestrian detours are anticipated at the intersections of Main St./Lasalle Ave and <br />Michigan St./Lasalle Ave. <br />2. Water Main Extension <br />a. Full intersection closures at Main St./Madison St. & Michigan St/Madison St. are <br />anticipated. Intersections are not required to be closed at the same time. <br />b. With intersection closure at Main St. and Michigan St., separate pedestrian detour routes <br />are anticipated. <br />c. With the intersection closure at Main St./Madison St. the City will allow detouring traffic <br />from a state route onto local a roadway. <br />American Structurepoint shall develop pedestrian maintenance of traffic plans for 50%, 90%, and <br />100% submittals as necessary for work associated with the pedestrian routes impacted by the water <br />main extension and sanitary sewer lining activities on W. Marion Street, N. Main Street, W. Madison <br />Street, and N. Michigan Street. <br />B. INDOT Permitting <br />1. The Consultant shall coordinate with the INDOT LaPorte District to obtain the necessary INDOT <br />road closure permit required for maintenance of traffic on SR933.
