LafayeƩ e Donated by Studebaker Museum <br />• 4022 Old Cleveland Road for New Intake Center <br /> City acquired property for the site of the proposed low barrier intake center, a long-held City and <br />community goal. <br />• Elwood Shopping Center <br /> City acquired the declining shopping center to ensure investment and a posiƟ ve future for the node and <br />neighborhood. <br />PROPERTY DISPOSITIONS <br />The City transferred more than 50 infi ll lots to nonprofi t developers for the construcƟ on aff ordable <br />housing. The developers include 466 Works, Intend Indiana, Near Northwest Neighborhood, Inc., Property <br />Bros., South Bend Heritage FoundaƟ on, and South Bend Mutual Homes CooperaƟ ve. CollecƟ vely, these <br />organizaƟ ons have commiƩ ed to building 108 aff ordable housing units on these lots in the City’s northwest, <br />near west, and southeast neighborhoods. <br />The City of South Bend partnered with Habitat for Human- <br />ity and provided the above lots on Harrison Street for the <br />construcƟ on of six new aff ordable homes seen here under <br />construcƟ on. <br />The City of South Bend partnered with Property Bros. LLC <br />and provided the above lots on Sherman Avenue as well <br />as fi nancial assistance for the construcƟ on of aff ordable <br />housing. <br />GROWTH & OPPORTUNITY
