BID PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS AND CONFORMITY 7.0 Hours of Operation and Release of Stored Vehicles • Per proposal requirements, ASAP hours for payment and release of vehicles include the following times: d. 9am — 5pm Monday through Friday e. 8am —12pm Saturday f. Sundays, holidays and after-hours pick-up can be made by appointment and an additional fee of $ 75.00 • Hours of operation, as well as, after hours contact information signs are clearly posted on entry doors of both locations. • Procedures for payment and release of impounded vehicles is as follows: Upon the owner obtaining a release form from the police station and presenting it to ASAP, we will ask for a valid photo id. (Driver's license, passport, or state issued id) we will compare the paperwork to the release form and registration and/or title. We will make copies for our files of the release form, photo id and registration and/or title. The invoice will then be presented for payment and signature of the owner. Forms of payment for a vehicle requiring a police release will be cash and/or credit/debit card. No personal checks will be accepted. After payment is received the owner will be provided a detailed receipt and asked to wait at the gate and an employee will bring the vehicle outside of the gate for the owner. 8.0 Agreement to Inspection ASAP Towing as well as all employees of the company agree to and shall be available for inspection should the City make the request, and subject to random inspections to ensure quality performance. 9.0 Assignment of Work ASAP Towing as well as all employees of the company agree not to assign its rights, under this contract, to any other person or entity without prior written notice and consent from the City of South Bend. The company and all its employees understand that any such assignment could constitute a breach of contract. 17
