BID PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS AND CONFORMITY <br />7.0 Hours of Operation and Release of Stored Vehicles <br />• Per proposal requirements, ASAP hours for payment and release of vehicles include the <br />following times: <br />d. 9am — 5pm Monday through Friday <br />e. 8am —12pm Saturday <br />f. Sundays, holidays and after-hours pick-up can be made by appointment and an <br />additional fee of $ 75.00 <br />• Hours of operation, as well as, after hours contact information signs are clearly posted on entry <br />doors of both locations. <br />• Procedures for payment and release of impounded vehicles is as follows: <br />Upon the owner obtaining a release form from the police station and presenting it to ASAP, we will ask <br />for a valid photo id. (Driver's license, passport, or state issued id) we will compare the paperwork to <br />the release form and registration and/or title. We will make copies for our files of the release form, <br />photo id and registration and/or title. The invoice will then be presented for payment and signature of <br />the owner. Forms of payment for a vehicle requiring a police release will be cash and/or credit/debit <br />card. No personal checks will be accepted. After payment is received the owner will be provided a <br />detailed receipt and asked to wait at the gate and an employee will bring the vehicle outside of the <br />gate for the owner. <br />8.0 Agreement to Inspection <br />ASAP Towing as well as all employees of the company agree to and shall be available for inspection <br />should the City make the request, and subject to random inspections to ensure quality performance. <br />9.0 Assignment of Work <br />ASAP Towing as well as all employees of the company agree not to assign its rights, under this contract, <br />to any other person or entity without prior written notice and consent from the City of South Bend. <br />The company and all its employees understand that any such assignment could constitute a breach of <br />contract. <br />17 <br />
