FINAL CLARIFIERS 1-3 REHABILITATION -PERIPHERAL FEED ALTERNATIVE — SCOPE OF WORK The scope is based upon: • Arcadis Final Clarifier 1-3 Drawings, dated October 2022 (35 Plan Sheets) ■ Arcadis Final Clarifier 1-3 Specifications (864 Pages) ■ Arcadis Final Clarifier 1-3 Addendum #1 (46 Pages) • Earth Exploration Geo-tech for Final Clarifiers 1-3 PDF (3 Pages) General a. Bowen has not included costs for any contaminated/hazardous material handling and/or disposal. b. Bowen has not included any budgets for Right of Ways, Right of Entries, Easements, Temp Easements. c. No costs for permits or railroad monitoring are included in this scope. d. All permits, including INDOT, are by others. e. AIS domestic steel requirements have been followed; however BABA requirements are not included. f. Davis Bacon prevailing wages are included. g. Construction Contingency: The Contractor's GMP Proposal contains, as part of the estimated Cost of the Project, the Contractor's Contingency, a sum agreed upon to cover costs which are properly reimbursable as a Cost of the Project, whether or not such cost is the basis for a Change Order. The Contractor shall regularly (no less than on a monthly basis during the term of this Agreement) provide the Owner with an accounting of all charges against the Contractor's Contingency. Final Clarifiers 1-3 Improvements a. Our scope is based on the existing deep foundations providing adequate structural integrity to maintain the existing final clarifiers in place without the use of dewatering. b. Our scope is based on the existing structural concrete and deep foundations providing adequate protection from the groundwater such that the work can be completed without the use of dewatering efforts. c. Includes Spall Repairs — 330 SF d. Includes Crack Repairs — 290 LF e. Includes Expansion Joint Repairs — 200 LF f. Includes Anchor Repairs — 870 EA g. Includes Railing Removal and Replacement —1600 LF h. Includes Protective Slurry—14,000 SF 3. Peripheral Feed Specific Items a. Scope is based on providing clarifier equipment per one of the following: i. OVIVO Proposal 2-13-0360 REV 1B OPT 1— (Spiral Blade) 1. This option is currently carried in the GMAX pricing. ii. OVIVO Proposal 2-13-0360 REV 1B OPT 2 —(Suction Header) 1. The Suction Header option is $50,000 less than the Spiral Blade option.
