g. A cementitious slurry coating similar to Xypex Concentrate is included on the interior of <br />the precast vaults. <br />h. In reference to the response to RFI #2, flowable fill around the pipe envelope will be <br />utilized only for the water main when within 5' of pavement. No other utilities will <br />utilize flowable fill backfill. <br />i. In reference to RFI #1, we have included an allowance of $50,000 to provide a solution <br />for the 48" flex connection. <br />j. Bowen has not included any allowances or costs for charges levied by utilities. Any such <br />fees that are the responsibility of the contractor would be a change of conditions. <br />k. An allowance of $50,000 has been included for the insulation, jacketing, and potential <br />heat tracing of the 48" basin influent line and the 4" basin flushing fill line. Once final <br />specifications have been provided for this work, quotes will be obtained. <br />I. No SCADA System Software, Servers, Historians, Computers, and associated devices <br />have been included in this scope as they are not shown on the system drawings. Bowen <br />assumes they are existing and will modify the existing system to the extent of the <br />specification functional requirements. <br />m. PLC Development software and Factory Talk View Studio licenses are excluded as it is <br />believed that the owner already has these. <br />n. Network Router and Communication Network bridge is excluded as it is not detailed on <br />the drawings. It is assumed that the existing radio link will be reused to integrate the <br />new PLC into the existing SCADA system. <br />o. We have included RCP and Sanitary manholes as specified, however all manufactures <br />have clarified out vacuum/pressure testing. We have excluded this pressure testing and <br />included a visual inspection. <br />p. Our scope includes installing an 18" HDPE dewatering discharge line to the Pinhook <br />Pond by method of open cutting Riverside drive. <br />3. EQ Basin Scope Modifications <br />a. The proposed Lift Station will be moved adjacent to the proposed Diversion Structure <br />and share a common wall similar to the attached drawings. <br />i. The 60" RCP pipe run is eliminated, and the 48" D.I. discharge is extended. <br />ii. The 96" RCP lines S1 & S2 are eliminated. <br />iii. Manhole Structure 106 is eliminated. <br />iv. The proposed Overflow structure is eliminated and the existing CSO 045 will <br />remain in place with modifications similar to the attached drawings. <br />1. A $150,000 allowance for concrete improvements to the existing CSO <br />045 structure has been included. This is based upon a budget from Cully <br />Contracting for a Mainstay Composite Liner of %" Restoration Mortar <br />with a 125 MILS Top -coat of DS-5 Epoxy. <br />2. The replacement of the existing flap gate has been included within the <br />existing CSO 045 structure. <br />3. Structural improvements and concrete coatings of the existing CSO 045 <br />structure will take place during a time of dry weather flow, at which <br />point the new Lift Station pumps will be used as a means of bypassing <br />up to 53 MGD. <br />v. This option eliminates all rental bypass pumping. <br />b. The existing 48" sewer is to remain in its current location. <br />i. Manhole structures 101 and 02 have been eliminated. <br />ii. 48" RCP between MH101 and MH103 has been eliminated. <br />
