Negative pressure of 20 psf at corner zones. <br /> <br />B. Source Quality Control: <br /> <br />1. Test Units: <br /> <br />a. Air, water and structural test unit’s minimum size shall be in accordance with <br />AAMA 101/I.S.2, 2/A440-17 to meet or exceed performance criteria for AW <br />100 Grade windows. <br /> <br />b. All test size units shall be not less than a 48" (1219 mm) x 72" (1828 mm). <br />Unit shall consist of a fixed lite next to a casement vent. The test shall be in <br />accordance with AAMA and ASTM testing criteria. Down-sized testing will <br />not be acceptable. . <br /> <br />c. Life cycle testing shall be in accordance with AAMA 910-10. The unit size <br /> tested shall not be less than the greater of the industry test standard or the <br /> unit(s) specified for this Project. <br /> <br />C. Test Procedures and Performances <br /> <br />1. Windows shall conform to all AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440 – 17 <br />requirements for the window type(s) specified in this Section. In addition, the <br />following specific performance requirements shall be met. <br /> <br />a. Life Cycle Testing <br /> <br />1. Test in accordance with AAMA 910. There shall be no damage <br />to fasteners, hardware parts, support arms, activating <br />mechanisms, or any other damage that would cause the window <br />to be inoperable. Air infiltration and water resistance tests shall <br />not exceed specified requirements. <br /> <br />b. Air Infiltration Test <br /> <br />1. With ventilators closed and locked, test unit in accordance with <br />ASTM E 283 at a static air pressure difference of 6.27 psf (300 <br />Pa). <br />2. Air infiltration shall not exceed .10 cfm/SF (.50 l/s•m²) of unit. <br /> <br />c. Water Resistance Test <br /> <br />1. With ventilators closed and locked, test unit in accordance with <br />ASTM E 331/ASTM E 547 at a static air pressure difference of <br />12.0 psf (720 Pa). <br /> <br />2. There shall be no uncontrolled water leakage. <br /> <br /> d. Uniform Load Deflection Test <br /> 1. With ventilators closed and locked, test unit in <br /> accordance with ASTM E 330 at a static air pressure <br /> difference of 90 psf (4309 Pa), positive and negative <br /> pressure. <br />
