2) Letter of Recommendation for David Chap1eau Ms. Jentoft-Nilsen announced a letter of recommendation was written and sent to the new city attorney requesting that David Chapleau be retained as the HPC counsel on a continuing basis. 3) .John Oxian - Reappointment Mr. Poland announced the reappointment of John Oxian by the County Commissioners to the HPC for another term. Mr. Poland also announced that Mr. Newburn was up for reappointment in March by the County Council. f. Public Relations to Community Education No Report g. Staff Report 1) 1988 Contracts Ms. Jentoft-Nilsen announced that the new employee contracts wi 1 1 run through the end of June, 1988 which is the end of the grant period. Ms. Jentoft-Nilsen also stated the contracts after June, 1988 will run through June 30, 1989 in conjunction with the next grant period. Mrs. 3porleder stated the Personnel Committee agreed to increase Mrs. Fountain's salary by 5:: which is 4-ii thin the county gu i 1 de 1 i nes and to include 6 paid sick or personal days and 6 paid holidays annually. 2) Annual Report Ms. Jentoft-tali lsen submitted the HPC Annual Report for review by the Commission, (appendix B). 3) Mayor's Conference Ms. Jentoft-N i 1 sen announced that the Mayor's Conference is being planned for Tuesday, May 10, 1988. The main speaker will be Peter Ancella who is the director of the Lowell, MA Preservation Commission. The main subject will be working with large industrial buildings. 4) Regional Quarterly Meeting of Historic District Commissions Ms. Jentoft-Nilsen requested permission for she and Mr. Poland to attend the Regional Quarterly Meeting of Historic District Commissions to be held on February 11, 1988 in Ft.
