Historic District=. <br />1) 1215 Riverside - Logan Center <br />Mr. Batten, representative for Logan Center requested <br />technical assistance to develop a suitable site plan with <br />appropriate screening (shrubs, trees) for the fire escape <br />installed at this property. Mr. Newburn made a motion to <br />request staff to submit an appropriate screening plan; Mr. <br />Herendeen seconded; motion passed. <br />d. Historic Landmarks <br />1) 19109 Johnson Road - Second Reading <br />Mr. Qxian requested that the original landmark ordinance be <br />amended to change the description from 2.2 acres to 5.484 <br />acres and that a letter be sent notifying Mr. Ralph Hay of <br />the change; Mrs. DeLaruelle made a motion to amend the <br />ordinance; Mr. Nek!,ibur•n seconded; motion passed. <br />2) Fredrickson House <br />Mr. Poland announced that second reading for the Fredrickson <br />house has been postponed till February 8 by the Common <br />Council. <br />Mr. Poland also stated that John Voorde, councilman -at -large <br />requested the HPC make a presentation before the new council. <br />N1r . Poland suggested this could be done in conjunction with <br />the presentation of the ordinance amendment to the Fredrickson <br />House on February 8. <br />e. Legal <br />1) 19109 Johnson Rd. <br />Mr. Nimtz stated that a meeting was held on January 21 with <br />Mr. Butler, Mr. Chapleau, Mr. Oxian, Mr. Dunfee, Ms. <br />Jentoft-Nilsen and he concerning the above landmark property <br />with successful results. <br />January 25, 1988 PAGE 2 <br />
