City of South Bend Central Services Division <br />Fire Service, Inc./Wheeled Coach Ambulance <br />Specification <br />The squad bench lid shall be secured with a paddle handle that latches <br />automatically when the squad bench lid is closed. The latch shall hold the lid <br />secure during transit and shall not open unless the handle is lifted. <br />SQUAD BENCH HOLD OPEN <br />When the squad bench lid is lifted, it shall be held in place by a 60 pound <br />pneumatic hold open. <br />CURBSIDE SPLINT CABINET <br />A cabinet shall be located above the squad bench near the headliner. The cabinet <br />shall be 7 inches deep, approx 8 inches high and run the length from the curbside <br />door to the rear wall cabinet. The cabinet shall be separated into two equal <br />cabinets with clear Lexan Flapglass doors. <br />H, Cabinet, Inside/ Outside Access <br />STREETSIDE MIDDLE LOWER CABINET <br />Cabinet "O" shall be located on the street side of the patient compartment. It shall <br />be the middle lower cabinet and will be a tilt out sharps and waste. <br />CABINET AA BASEWALL will be in the Action Area basewall and will hold customer radio <br />equipment. <br />CPR SIDE SEAT <br />A CPR side seat shall be located just above the rear street side wheel well. <br />Seamless upholstered cushions shall be located on the bottom and rear wall of the <br />seat area.
