The opening shall be trimmed <br />with an aluminum extrusion. <br />SQUAD BENCH CABINET <br />The squad bench cabinet shall be located on the curb side of the patient <br />compartment over the rear wheel well. The squad bench shall be a minimum of <br />72 inches long and be constructed of three quarter inch birch. The lid shall be <br />attached to the squad bench assembly via a stainless steel piano hinge the entire <br />length of the bench. The hinge shall attach with fasteners in a vertical position <br />through the face of the lid and not through the edge of the cabinet and lid. The <br />squad bench shall be equipped with a locking device to automatically secure the <br />lid upon closing. The squad bench shall be furnished with two sets of 6 Point <br />safety belts for seated occupants and three Two point belts for the retention of a <br />cot when positioned on the squad bench. The anchorages for the side facing seat <br />belt assembly shall withstand a minimum of 2,500 pounds force when tested in <br />accordance with FMVSS 210-S5.1. A full length cushion shall be installed on <br />the squad bench lid and on the wall as a back rest. The interior of the squad bench <br />shall provide storage. <br />Squad bench- drawer at head for sharps/waste. ILO flip up lid for S/W <br />SQUAD BENCH LID <br />The squad bench shall have a full length lid that shall be manufactured from three <br />quarter inch birch.
