REGULAR MEETING June 22nd, 2020 freedom,justice, and equality for all a reality for the City's residents, not just during the present crisis,but always. This being the time heretofore set for the Public Hearing on the above bill, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard. Larissa DeMeester, 512 East Oakside Street, South Bend, IN, spoke in favor of the above resolution. Dawn Turpin, 1009 East Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, IN, inquired about the disciplinary procedures being part of contract renegotiations. Joseph Lee, 831 West Colfax Avenue, South Bend, IN, spoke in favor of the above resolution. Council Vice President Karen L. White gave the floor to comments from Council Members. Councilmember Troy Warner made a motion to adopt Bill No. 20-18. Councilmember Rachel Tomas Morgan seconded this motion which carried by roll call vote of eight(8) ayes. White made a motion to send Bill No. 28-20 to the Zoning and Annexation Committee for their July 13th, 2020 meeting for Second Reading and Public Hearing. McBride made a motion to send Bill No. 30-20 to the Zoning and Annexation Committee for their July 13th, 2020 meeting for Second Reading and Public Hearing. Councilmember Lori K.
