19 January Presentation to Sue Solmos' Realtors' Class at the Studebaker Museum. <br />Wayne followed up with Lance Rousch of Quality Windows and Doors (574 298 4527) <br />inquiring about the windows at Central High School Apartments. Re -scheduled luncheon <br />meeting with Dana Groves and Elicia for Friday to explore 2411 workshop options with <br />Historic New Carlisle and to view a new adaptive re -use in New Carlisle. <br />20 January On site photographic session at 5032 Miami for Area Plan following up on <br />Christa Nayer's inquiry on that property. The house appears to be built as a duplex. Our <br />survey card from 1979 byJohn Stamper states that the house was probably built in 1890; <br />the 2005 Survey places the date 1928. We do not have Assessor Cards for 30-37-3E <br />section. Farm Bureau Insurance would like to acquire the property, demolish the house <br />and build. We have informed Area Plan that we would recommend an adaptive re -use <br />rather than a demolition. We agreed to meet on this next week. Submitted twelve 106 <br />Reviews. Received Raquel Burton's COA for a front door via e-mail. Discussed cemetery <br />sign proposals for Highland and Riverview with Randy Whiteman of Art Works Sign <br />Company. <br />21 January Prepared Staff Report for 503 N. Lafayette for Monday's meeting. <br />Attended Redevelopment Commission meeting for Morris Performing Arts Centre in <br />support of their work on the windows and the doors as well as the work on the north brick <br />wail. Met with Dana Groves and Elicia in New Carlisle to discuss workshops and possible <br />locations of work shops. Toured Feeney's, a newly restored gift shop. There is a possible <br />work shop on plaster repair on the second floor at this location. Reconciled year end <br />budget figures/location report and e-mailed Kathleen Sobecki with corrections and issues. <br />n <br />
