Assistant Director's ReDort HPC Meetina 01.24.2011 <br />1. City Cemetery National Register Nomination -tracking architect for sexton <br />cottage, tracking dates of plat additions 1-3. Visit to cemetery for observation <br />and additional photographs. Library for clipping files and microfilm searching. <br />Phone call with local historian John Kovatch, researcher John Palmer, researcher <br />Toni Cook. Correspondence with Notre Dame and Parks, Steve Nemeth <br />regarding a ground scan. Creating bibliography page. Expanding text from new <br />research. <br />2. Prepare 12.20.10 HPC meeting minute draft and forward to Commissioners. <br />Revise as requested. Print minutes from December meeting for January <br />meeting. Print commissioner and liaison mailing labels. <br />3. Preparing the 2011 newsletter for an end of January release. Canvassing <br />commissioners for articles. <br />4. RMS 2010-2011 Window Restoration Production -correspondence with <br />Spigelmyer on when they will have the script back to us. Work with Wayne on <br />script and coordinating a pre -production meeting. Correspondence with WNIT <br />regarding WHY video. Pre -production meeting at 612 Portage. Adjusting script. <br />5. RMS 2011 -Developing an excel file of County history related professionals to <br />contact for potential partnerships. Working on additional partnerships for the <br />SAVE THE WINDOWS (National Trust for Historic Preservation) campaign, such as <br />local hardware stores to carry materials needed for restoration, etc. Meeting <br />with Dana Groves of Historic New Carlisle to discuss partnership for workshops. <br />6. Staff Reports -none <br />7. RME-none <br />8. North Shore Triangle -Lunch with Mary Ellen O'Connell to discuss the North <br />Shore Triangle as a Local Conservation District. Follow up by sending her an <br />email with additional resources, including Conservation District Standards <br />example. <br />9. Marquette School -becoming familiar with project by reviewing past meeting <br />minutes and file, etc. <br />10. Industrialists Neighborhood -Assisting Catherine with presentation for the <br />South Bend Realtor Class. <br />11. 106 Reviews with Catherine. <br />12. Attend CVB Industry Partner meeting.
