can bring us up to date on what is happening with the injunction. I would also like to talk
to him about the two windows at Madison School.
JOHN LIVINGSTON: From what I have learned, they have been destroyed.
JOHN OXIAN: That was a total violation, and was inexcusable. I want to see legal
action taken against them; or they can find a way to replace them.
JOHN LIVINGSTON: That area is now within the confines of the building. So, we
would have to find out if we would have any jurisdiction over what happened to those
two windows, due to the fact, that they are on the inside of the building.
JOHN OXIAN: That is where the windows were supposed to be. The motion that we
made stated that those two windows that were on the outside were supposed to be saved
for the future. I made the proposal and it was accepted that those windows, since they
were going to be on the inside, should be saved forever; because, there wouldn't be any
more deterioration. Just because they put that addition on does not excuse them from
taking out two windows that were in the C. of A.
JOHN LIVINGSTON: I understand that; but, those windows are no longer around
anymore.
JOHN OXIAN: Then legal action should be taken. If we allow them to get away with .
something like this, then they are going to pull that kind of stunt on us all the time.
JOANN SPORLEDER: There was another legal matter that was brought up last time
relative to the trees in the township park. Someone was going to talk with Pete
Augustino and coordinate what our objection was to cutting down the trees in the Clay
Township Cemetery.
JOHN LIVINGSTON: Did the county cut them down?
JOANN SPORLEDER: We think the person who installed the sign cut them down. Mr..
Augustino is doing some legal action with the township which owns the property. Tom, I
thought, was'going to coordinate the action we have, because it is a local landmark.
JOHN LIVINGSTON: I remember the conversation we had about that. I will have to
find out about this and let you know what is happening with this matter.
C. STAFF REPORTS:
KAREN HAMMOND-NASH: There have been eight C. of A's staff approved since the
last commission meeting. They have been mostly in Wayne Street and in Edgewater.
They are all for in-kind replacements, or for maintenance, or removal of scrub trees.
Correspondence of significance is a letter received today from Economic
Development, which I believe has been passed out to all of you. Per your instructions I
