• title information. <br />B. Second Reading Proposed Local Landmark Designations <br />1) 216 West Washington - Tower Building <br />Mr. Duvall presented the staff report and circulated photographs. He noted <br />that there were no representatives of the owners present. Adrian Fine moved <br />to accept the application based on the staff recommendation. John Borkowski <br />seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. <br />2) 514 West LaSalle Street - Eby House <br />Mr. Duvall presented the staff report and circulated photographs. Mr. Oxian <br />noted that he got the Landmark designation for this application. Mr. Duvall <br />noted that the owners were not present,�.but, there was a consent. John Oxian <br />moved to accept 'and John Borkowski seconded the motion. The motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />IV. Regular Business <br />A. Approval of Minutes <br />1. July 28, 1997 <br />Joann Sporleder noted that page five, item four, where it stated that the <br />motion had passed unanimously was wrong. Mrs. Sporleder stated that it should <br />• read that she had voted against the motion. .Adrian Fine pointed out that on <br />page four, fifth line of item four should read that the applicant intended to <br />replace steel case windows with wood case windows rather then having it read <br />that they intended to install steel case windows. Martha Choitz moved to <br />accept the minutes as corrected and Catherine Hostetler seconded the motion. <br />The motion passed unanimously. <br />B. Treasurer's Report <br />None <br />C. Correspondence <br />Mr. Duvall indicated that notification from DNR about a public hearing had <br />been received and that a call for comments from the Army Corp. of Engineers <br />had also been received. <br />D. Committee Reports <br />1. Budget & Finance <br />Mr. Duvall noted that the last budget had been supplied to the commissioners. <br />He also stated that the application for Community Development Block Grant <br />funding had been filed. <br />2. Historic Districts <br />Martha Choitz noted that project <br />and that it had not been decided <br />said that they do intend to get <br />• important to set that date soon. <br />access had no date set for Riverside Drive <br />if the Northshore people should attend.
