Mr. Duvall indicated that he was <br />not sure, but he assumed that there would be a single pedestrian door, noting <br />that the proposed structure was to be built according to standard plans and <br />materials from Menards. He further clarified that the design would have the <br />gable end of the new structure facing Grape Road with a sixteen foot double <br />garage door. The older section of the house is brick but the rear addition has <br />the vinyl siding which is to be matched in the proposed construction. Hearing <br />no more discussion Mr. Talley called the question. The motion was approved <br />unanimously. <br />1996-0401-2, 1093 Riverside Drive <br />Mr. Duvall read the Staff comments and distributed drawings with plant <br />specifications. He also noted the presence of the applicant. He added comments <br />regarding the necessity to generally maintain the continuity of the break in <br />the grade along the lots fronting on Riverside Drive but that this particular <br />part of the long-range plan is not presently under consideration. Mrs. Petrass <br />moved that the commission approve the application for the first phase of the <br />landscaping as proposed. Mrs. Choitz seconded the motion. Fr. Bullene observed <br />that there was similarity between the two submitted plans and sought <br />confirmation that the general flow common to the two plans would be maintained <br />in the final composite project. The Owner concurred. Hearing no more <br />discussion, Mr. Talley called the question. The motion was approved <br />unanimously. <br />1996-0402, 525 Edgewater Drive • <br />Mr. Duvall read the Staff comments and distributed photographs and material <br />specifications. Mr. Talley noted for John Oxian that the last comment of the <br />report was not necessary and that the re -rating of a property could be brought <br />to the commission by staff whenever they felt is was justified. Mrs. Choitz <br />moved for approval of the application. Mr. Borkowski seconded the motion. <br />Mrs. Choitz indicated that the proposed spindles should be squared stock <br />rather than the turned material proposed. Mr. Fine concurred in this. Mrs. <br />Choitz amended her motion to require that the spindles be of square stock. Mr. <br />Borkowski accepted this amendment. Mr. Oxian observed that the roof and <br />ceiling may require more repairs as part of this reconstruction. Mr. Duvall <br />indicated that he would discuss this with the owner. Hearing no more <br />discussion, Mr. Talley called the question. The motion was approved <br />unanimously. Mrs. Choitz moved for approval of the <br />application. Mr. Wiener seconded the motion. Fr. Bullene sought clarification <br />of the materials involved. Mr. Duvall responded that the existing fence was <br />chain-link and that the replacement material would be wood. Hearing no more <br />discussion, Mr. Oxian called the question.
