The information, Preservation Legislative Bulletin Information <br />Sheet, Landmark and Historic District Commission Newsletters, Historic <br />Preservation Litigation Charts, and News Service, has been, up to now, <br />distributed free. <br />Ms. Peck stated National Historic Preservation Week is May 7 - 13, <br />and asked if the Commission thought it was worth asking the Mayor to <br />proclaim it. 1,1.r. Eckerle said he would ask the Mayor if the Commission <br />wanted him to. The consensus was that we should not. <br />478 7. Old Business <br />Ms. Price moved that a personnel committee be appointed to deal <br />with these matters of personnel (referring to evaluations of the <br />Preservation Planner) seconded this. Everyone said <br />aye. President Wasielewski preferred the personnel committee be the <br />officers of the Commission. <br />478 8. New Business <br />Candy Peck, 803 West Washington, spoke to the Commission as a <br />resident of the Historic Preservation District. She brought up the <br />Orange -Colfax Street Connector to make the Commission aware of what <br />was going on in West Washington. <br />President Wasielewski felt the discussion should go to the <br />districts comrl_ittee for review. <br />Mr. Oxian presented an ordinance from Virginia concerning <br />an Historic District in the County. <br />President Wasielewski adjourned the meeting.
