Upon a motion by Mr. Sharp, seconded by Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, the Commission approved Resolution No. 1207 designating the Sample -Ewing Development Area, declaring the Sample -Ewing Development Area to be blighted, approving a development plan and conditions under which relocation payments will be made, and establishing an allocation area for purposes of tax incremental financing. Adfth h. Commission approval requested for Resolution No. 1212 accepting the transfer of real property from the City of South Bend. Mrs. Kolata explained that Resolution No. 1212 agrees to accept the transfer of seventeen lots within the southeast neighborhood that are currently owned by the City of South Bend. The Board of Public Works will consider a similar resolution on December 20. There are other publicly owned lots in the area which we intend to have transferred to the Commission, but there is not clear title on them at this time.
