outer edge of each compartment floor. <br />YEN <br />7.5 DOOR GRABBERS <br />A set of door Cast Products "Grabbers" (or equal) shall be provided at the bottom of <br />the rear doors. They shall be fastened to the door and door frame with self-locking <br />stainless steel screws. <br />Y VN <br />7.6 DOOR SEALS — — <br />For optimum fit and closure, the compartment and patient entry doors shall close on <br />a .625" W x .400" thick automotive, closed cell EDPM rubber gasket adhered to first <br />interior surface of the double pan -formed compartment doors. The gasket seal shall <br />be located on this surface to prevent exposure of the rotary latch mechanism to <br />water or dirt when the door is closed. <br />Y_V�_ <br />7.8 POWER DOOR LOCK SYSTEM -ALL PATIENT AND COMPARTMENT DOORS <br />The rear patient entry doors and side entry/egress door, along with all exterior <br />compartment doors and exterior ALS door, shall be equipped with a power locks. <br />7.9 POWER DOOR LOCK SWITCHES <br />One (1) exterior power door lock switch with a rubber weather boot shall be provided <br />and installed in rear license plate bezel hidden from obvious view. It shall be in <br />addition to the switch installed in the cab to control the power door locks installed on <br />designated compartment doors. <br />Y N <br />7.91 Two (2) additional power door lock switches shall be provided and installed in <br />the patient compartment. One (1) shall be at the curbside entry door and one (1) at <br />the rear entry doors. / N <br />Y r' N <br />7.10 POWER DOOR LOCK ACTIVATION <br />The patient compartment door locks shall be wired to the chassis power door locks. <br />Y�N_ <br />7.11 STAINLESS STEEL DOOR SILL PROTECTION <br />There shall be a 20 ga. formed stainless steel compartment doorsill protection for all <br />exterior compartments. The stainless protector shall be affixed with heavy duty <br />double sided tape to the top surface of the doorsill and extend over the radius edge. <br />7.12 COMPARTMENT ILLUMINATION <br />Y t®N <br />Each exterior compartment shall be illuminated with 4.25" round, Liteco incandescent <br />lights Model #69000200 (or equal). These lights shall have clear Lexan lenses and <br />be recessed into the compartment sides and/or ceiling above and below any <br />specified shelves. Each door shall have an individual automatic switch to signal a <br />"door or compartment open" condition and to turn on interior lighting when the door is <br />opened. The switches shall be Sentrol heavy duty, magnetic reed switches mounted <br />in the doorframe header interior to the protective door seal. <br />42 <br />
