shall be fully welded to the vehicle cab and used as a mounting system to attach the <br />cab/module expanding bellows. <br />Y N <br />6.13 MOUNTING <br />An Isomount technique shall be used to mount the ambulance body to the chassis <br />frame. Mounting hardware shall consist of .75" x 6" aluminum bar stock body plates, <br />ten (16) 7116"-14 UNC threaded Grade 8 bolts, paired rubber isolators with steel cap, <br />collared mounting nut for each mounting point and (10) 114" steel outriggers with (2) <br />support gussets using grade 8 bolts. The bolts and rubber isolators are similar to the <br />type used to mount the vehicle cab. Mounting holes in the top of the outrigger shall <br />accommodate the mounting hardware. The .75" x 6" aluminum bar stock mounting <br />plates shall be bolted through the upper mounting isolator with the OEM Grade 8 <br />bolt. The bolt passes through and secures the second isolator below the outrigger <br />flange with the collared nut. Body sub floor cross members shall be welded to the <br />aluminum bar stock mounting plates. This combination of components provides the <br />body with a cushioned ride and allows the body and frame to flex independently to <br />avoid frame stress. <br />Y N— <br />6,14 LEFT SIDE COMPARTMENTATION <br />6,14.1 FORWARD OF REAR WHEEL WELL - D1 AND D2 <br />A full height compartment shall be provided in the forward position ahead of the <br />wheel well. It shall have approximate exterior dimensions of: <br />26" wide x 84" high <br />Y N <br />6.14.2 The D1 compartment shall have a solid, flush mounted, vertically hinged door, <br />constructed of aluminum. <br />Y �N <br />6.14.3 A low compartment (02) shall be provided in the rearward position ahead of <br />the wheel well. It shall have approximate exterior dimensions of: <br />43" wide x 33" high. <br />Y ifN <br />6.14.4 The D2 compartment shall have double solid, flush mounted, vertically hinged <br />doors. Each door shall be constructed of aluminum. <br />Y �N <br />6.14.5 REAR OF WHEEL WELL - D4 <br />A compartment shall be provided in the area rearward of the rear wheel well. It shall <br />have the approximate dimensions as follows: <br />43" wide x 65" high / <br />Y✓N <br />6.14.6 The D4 compartment shall have double solid, flush mounted, vertically hinged <br />doors. Each door shall be constructed of aluminum. <br />37 <br />
