The burden is really on you <br />guys, isn't it? <br />Mr. Keen: I think the burden is on both <br />parties-for the city to work in good faith <br />with developers and for developers not to <br />have to be shooting in the dark. If you'll <br />just give us a couple of seconds I think we <br />can give you an answer. We understand <br />the problem that we can't sit here and <br />negotiate twelve items. On the other hand <br />we thought we might be able to <br />arrangethose negotiations through the <br />staff so we could work with the staff to <br />come up with some sense of what would <br />be a reasonable package. We assumed <br />that's what the staff does for you guys. If <br />that's not possible, then what we can do is <br />try to respond to that. <br />Mr. Downes: It just seems so obvious to <br />me that when you came up with the <br />concept for this, there had to be deal <br />breakers. Some of them have to be on <br />that list. All we're asking is what the deal <br />breakers are. <br />Mr. Bergeman: Item one and two are <br />linked together and that would be a deal <br />breaker, because that's the vision of <br />Sycamore Street, as is item three. <br />Mr. Downes: I understood with <br />Maennerchor, there's no financial <br />assistance being request from the city. <br />Mr. Bergeman: Other than the shared <br />vision that you would support the <br />39 <br />
