<br />Assessments, if deferred, are to be paid in ten equal installments, with interest at the
<br />rate of six (6) per cent per annum. (A bond or bonds shall be issued to the contractor
<br />in payment of assessments, as the several owners of real estate upon which they are a lie
<br />Exercise the right to pay the same in ten equal installments.) Under no circumstances sh
<br />the City of South Bend, Indiana, be or be held responsible for any sum or sums,due,from
<br />said property owner or owners for said work, or for certificate or certificates, bond or
<br />bonds, issued to said contractor in payment for.such work, except for such moneys as shal
<br />have been actually received by the City from assessments for such improvement, or such mo
<br />neys as the City is by said entitled Act and the provisions of all Acts amendatory and
<br />supplemental thereto, required to pay. All proceedings had and work done in making of sa
<br />improvement, assessment of property, collection of assessments and issuance of bonds they
<br />for, shall be as provided for in said entitled Act and amendments thereto.
<br />The 14th day of March, 1950 at the hour of 7:30 o'clock PM -CST is hereby fixed as th
<br />ime, and the office of the Board in said City as theplace, when and where. all persons
