az rs�. 261.6-i, 9/15/69 REQUEST TO BLOCK DUBAIL, FROM MIAMI TO DALE ON SCHOOL DAYS Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the request of Rt. Rev. Msgr. Joseph R. Crowley, for St. Matthew's Cathedral, 1701 Miami Street, South Bend, Indiana, for permission to block Dubail Street, from Miami to Dale, from 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. on school days, was referred to Traffic Engineering for investigation and report to the Board. REQUEST FOR MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY TO HOLD BAND CONCERT - 10/4/69 Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the request of John Kagel, Executive Director, Downtown South Bend Council, 320 W. Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana, for a concert by Michigan State University band, in front of the court house on October 4, 1969, and while marching from the court house east on Jeffersontto Michigan, north to Washington, and west on Washington to the court house, at approximately 11:00 A.M. MORRIS CIVIC AUDITORIUM LEASE Copy of lease with Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend for a performance by the Band of America on 8/22/69 was reviewed and ordered filed. ABANDONED VEHICLE ORDINANCE - FEES ESTABLISHED A discussion was had in reference to establishing fees in conjunction with the abandoned vehicle ordinance. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the following fees were established: Towing charge $15.00 Disposing of vehicle $15.00 Storage charge None REQUEST FOR TRANSFER OF FUNDS - CITY ENGINEER Upo n motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the request of the City Engineer for the transfer of $150.00 from Account L-722 (motor equipment) to Account L-323 (tires). And the matter was referred to the Legal Department for the preparation of an ordinance for the con- sideration of the Common Council. STREETS LIGHTS APPROVED Model Cities area, bounded by Linden, Adams, Washington and Olive: Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board approved the recommendation of Traffic Engineering for the following: Replace 30 - 4000L INC OH WP Replace 1 - 1000L INC OH WP Install 13 - 7000L MV OH WP Relocate 1 - 7000L MV OH WP at an increase in cost of $73.75 per month. South Lafayette, from he viaduct to Sample Street: Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried the Board approved the recom mendation of Traffic Engineering for the following: Replace 3 existing lights with 200000L MV OH WP Install 5 additional lights with 20,000L MV OH WP at a cost to the City of $35.60. Area bounded, roughly, by Peashway, Eddy, Howard and Niles of the Code Enforcement Project: Upon moti6o:;mad0, secohded'_and ;carried, the Board approved the recommendation of Traffic Engineering, as follows: Replace 27 - 4000L INC OH WP Replace 3 - 6000L INC OH WP Add 42 - 7000L MV OH WP as modified by the Board. At an increased cost of $183.45 per month.
