9/15/69 <br />Angela, Notre Dame to ;Eddy: <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the recommendation, <br />with modification, of Traffic Engineering, as follows: <br />7 20,000 MV <br />Install 2 additional at Eddy <br />Remove 3 - 6000 <br />PARKING METERS - 100 BLOCK S. ST. JOSEPH <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the recommendation <br />of the Traffic Director for the removal of two parking meters and the addition <br />of two meters in the 100 block of St. St. Joseph Street. <br />PARKING METERS - 100 BLOCK W. COLFAX <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board denied the recommendation <br />of the Traffic Director for the removal of Parking meter #2 on the south side <br />of the 100 block of W. Colfax and the prohibiting of parking on the south side <br />of the 100 block of W. Colfax, until construction of the parking garage <br />begins at Colfax and Main. <br />REMOVAL OF PARKING METERS AND RELOCATION OF COURTESY TAXI STANDS <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the removal of parking <br />meters #16 to #18 and #20 and the relocation of the Courtesy Cab Stands from <br />122 W. Colfax to 122 S. Main Street. <br />PARKING RESTRICTIONS APPROVED <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the Board approved the recommendation of <br />the Traffic Director as follows: <br />To prohibit parking on the west side of Humphreys Court, from the <br />present restricted spaces to the south end of the Court. <br />To prohibit parking on the south side of W. North Shore Drive, <br />250 feet west from Michigan Street. <br />FOUR-WAY STOP AT GLADSTONE AND HURON - DENIED <br />Upon motion made, seconded and unanimously carried, the Board, upon the <br />recommendation of the Traffic Director, denied the petition for a four-way <br />stop at Gladstone and Huron Streets, filed by Jack B. Rousseau, 433 S. Gladstone <br />Avenue, ant others, on August 4, 1969. <br />EXCAVATION BOND <br />Excavation bond on behalf of Guy Rizek was continued to 6/7/70 by certificate, <br />was approved and ordered filed. <br />STREET LIGHT OUTAGE REPORTS <br />Street light outage reports for the period 9/4/69 to 9/12/69 were ordered filed. <br />There being no further business to come befo <br />at 12:45 P.M. <br />1 <br />ATTEST <br />Clerk <br />
