Miller stated he represented E. R. Have], who wished to see this <br />facility constructed as they thought it was needed and would do much to <br />upgrade the neighborhood; that their problem is that of trucks coming in <br />which vary from small trucks to semi -trucks and that a turning radius <br />probably would not be adequate, and that they would like to go straight <br />out onto Colfax. Mr. Montgomery stated he believed a satisfactory <br />solution could be worked out. Thereupon, the motion was made, seconded <br />and unanimously carried to continue the matter for one week to permit <br />attorneys Montgomery and Miller to reach a solution for ingress and egress <br />of trucks. <br />AREA PLAN RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE FRANKLIN STREET - SEARS ROEBUCK <br />Area Plan Commission recommends favorably to the Board the vacation of; <br />Franklin Street, between Western Avenue and Monroe Street. <br />Upon motion made, seconded and carried, petition is referred to the City <br />Engineer for the preparation of a vacation resolution. <br />PETITION TO PAVE HUEY STREET UNDER BARRETT LAW - LEHMAN HAYNES <br />A petition to pave Huey Street, from Longley to Roger Street, under Barrett <br />Law, was filed with the Board by Lehman Haynes, 616 N. Huey Street, South <br />Bend, Indiana and four others. Upon motion made, seconded and carried, the <br />petition was referred to the City Engineer for study and recommendation. <br />HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL -VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 3279 - CHARLES NIBLICK <br />This being the date set, heating was held on the assessment roll in Vacation <br />Resolution No. 3279, being for the vacation of; <br />The first east -west alley north of Marion Street, from Scott <br />Street east to the north -south alley between Scott Street and <br />Leland Avenue, situated between Lots No. 25 and 26 in James <br />D.
