He also advised the Board that the
program has been promised funds from various private citizens and organ-
izations.
Mr. Lennon asked that the city -owned lot at 936 W. LaSalle -Street be
given to Model Cities for,the development of the first "tot -lot" which
would be experimental in the program. ,He stated that this lot had been
given to the City by Mrs. Jean Pridmore Bryan, and that Mrs. Bryan had
stated in her Letter that she wished her donation to be used as a park,
playground or other recreational facility.
The Board moved that this matter be continued one week, to May 1, 1972,
to allow them to confer with the Park Department and Model Cities, to
determine whose jurisdiction this matter would come under.
REQUEST OF JEWISH COMMUNITY COUNCIL TO CIRCULATE PETITIONS IN DOWNTOWN
AREA
A letter from Mrs. Bernard Natkow, Jewish Community Council, 312 Commerce
Building, South Bend, Indiana was filed with the Board.
