still meets or exceeds the recommended values the test equipment <br />manufacturer (NEMA) recommends. <br />2. CITY provides INDOT with a copy of the annual certification of <br />CITY's testing equipment. <br />3. CITY provides INDOT with test results for each State conflict <br />monitor or malfunction management unit tested along with the date <br />tested and the name of the person conducting the test. <br />e. CITY provides INDOT with copy of the date and name of person who <br />removed each conflict monitor or malfunction management unit from <br />cabinet. <br />5. CITY provides INDOT with copy of the date and name of person who <br />installed each conflict monitor or malfunction management unit in <br />cabinet. <br />A schedule for testing shall be supplied to the CITY by INDOT and shall <br />be accomplished during the month of January. The monitor change out <br />shall be done from July through the end of September. Refer to the <br />Conflict Monitor Change Out Procedure in Exhibit "M". <br />10. NON -ROUTINE MAINTENANCE <br />a. "Non -Routine Maintenance" shall be work performed on INDOT owned <br />traffic signal equipment, other than the "Routine Maintenance" <br />items, at anytime as a result of traffic accident, vandalism, storm <br />or further damage prescribed as an act of God. This work often <br />consists of work as directed by the Project Supervisor/Engineer <br />through WORK ORDERS. If the traffic signal installation has <br />emergency vehicle preemption that is the cause of the reported <br />malfunctioning or damaged traffic signal, preemption repairs are not <br />covered under this Contract. In lieu of repair to the preemption <br />equipment, disconnection of the preemption equipment from the <br />controller is appropriate. If there has been a knock down of traffic <br />signal apparatus that contains emergency vehicle preemption <br />equipment, an attempt should be made, using normal diligence, to <br />salvage the preemption equipment for re -use. <br />b. Additionally, "Non -Routine Maintenance" shall be the proper response <br />to reported damaged traffic signal installations. In the event of <br />extreme emergency problems, it may be necessary to solicit the <br />immediate assistance of local law enforcement agencies until such <br />time that emergency repairs can be accomplished. <br />c.
