REGULAR MEETING <br />AUGUST 12, 1986 <br />submitted at this time for execution was the Title Sheet for the <br />above referred to project. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the request to <br />advertise was approved and the Title Sheet signed. <br />ACCEPT AND APPROVE DEDICATION OF PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />(NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSING SERVICES OF SOUTH BEND, INC.) <br />Submitted to the Board was a Dedication of Public Right -of -Way <br />from Mr. Bruce N. Wood, President, Neighborhood Housing Services <br />of South Bend, Indiana, dedicating and conveying to the City of <br />South Bend for use as a public right-of-way the following parcel <br />of land: <br />A strip of land seven (7) feet in width, North and South, <br />taken off of and from the entire length of the North side of <br />Tract I described below together with another parcel of land <br />consisting of thirty-six (36) square feet described as <br />beginning at the Northeast corner of said parcel, thence <br />South across the strip referred to above seven (7) feet to <br />the true point of beginning, thence South six (6) feet, <br />thence West six (6) feet, thence North six (6) feet, thence <br />East six (6) feet to the point of beginning, all from the <br />following parcel: <br />Tract I: <br />The North One -Half (1/2) of the following parcel of real <br />estate: A part of the South Half (1/2) of Lot Seven (7) as <br />shown on the recorded Plat of Edward Sorin's First Addition <br />to the Town of Lowell, now a part of the City of South Bend <br />bounded by a line running as follows: Beginning at the <br />Northwest corner of the South One Half (1/2) of said Lot <br />Seven (7) in Sorin's First Addition to the Town of Lowell, <br />now part of the City of South Bend; thence South on the East <br />line of Coquillard Street, now known as Frances Street, 68.64 <br />feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot thence running East <br />on the South line of said Lot to the West line of a public <br />alley that runs North and South across said Lot Seven (7); <br />thence North 68.64 feet to the West line of said alley, to a <br />point due East of the place of beginning, thence West to the <br />place of beginning, in South Bend, Indiana. <br />Mr. Leszczynski advised that this is seven (7) feet right-of-way <br />required to enlarge the alley. It was noted that the adjacent <br />property is owned by NHS who has allowed the South Bend Community <br />School Corporation to construct a structure on their property <br />which is located on Frances Street. <br />Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. <br />Barnard and carried, the Dedication was accepted and approved. <br />ACCEPT AND APPROVE EASEMENT AND RIGHT-OF-WAY (INWOOD ROAD) <br />Mr. Joseph J. Pluta, Director, Division of Engineering and Mr. <br />Melvin B. Humphrey, Bureau of Design and Administration submitted <br />to the Board for approval an easement and right-of-way along <br />Inwood Road. They advised that the parcel of property involved <br />is the north twenty (20) feet of Irish Hills property and will <br />give the City a forty (40) foot right-of-way along Inwood Road. <br />It was noted that the Easement was signed by Mr. Edward Ravitz, <br />Agent, Edward Rose of Indiana.. Upon a motion made by Ms. <br />Barnard, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the Easement as <br />submitted was accepted and approved. <br />BLOCK PARTY REQUESTS REFERRED <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard <br />and carried, the following block party requests were referred to <br />the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police Department <br />Traffic Division for review and recommendation: <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
