REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 12, 1986 submitted at this time for execution was the Title Sheet for the above referred to project. Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the request to advertise was approved and the Title Sheet signed. ACCEPT AND APPROVE DEDICATION OF PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY (NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSING SERVICES OF SOUTH BEND, INC.) Submitted to the Board was a Dedication of Public Right -of -Way from Mr. Bruce N. Wood, President, Neighborhood Housing Services of South Bend, Indiana, dedicating and conveying to the City of South Bend for use as a public right-of-way the following parcel of land: A strip of land seven (7) feet in width, North and South, taken off of and from the entire length of the North side of Tract I described below together with another parcel of land consisting of thirty-six (36) square feet described as beginning at the Northeast corner of said parcel, thence South across the strip referred to above seven (7) feet to the true point of beginning, thence South six (6) feet, thence West six (6) feet, thence North six (6) feet, thence East six (6) feet to the point of beginning, all from the following parcel: Tract I: The North One -Half (1/2) of the following parcel of real estate: A part of the South Half (1/2) of Lot Seven (7) as shown on the recorded Plat of Edward Sorin's First Addition to the Town of Lowell, now a part of the City of South Bend bounded by a line running as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of the South One Half (1/2) of said Lot Seven (7) in Sorin's First Addition to the Town of Lowell, now part of the City of South Bend; thence South on the East line of Coquillard Street, now known as Frances Street, 68.64 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot thence running East on the South line of said Lot to the West line of a public alley that runs North and South across said Lot Seven (7); thence North 68.64 feet to the West line of said alley, to a point due East of the place of beginning, thence West to the place of beginning, in South Bend, Indiana. Mr. Leszczynski advised that this is seven (7) feet right-of-way required to enlarge the alley. It was noted that the adjacent property is owned by NHS who has allowed the South Bend Community School Corporation to construct a structure on their property which is located on Frances Street. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the Dedication was accepted and approved. ACCEPT AND APPROVE EASEMENT AND RIGHT-OF-WAY (INWOOD ROAD) Mr. Joseph J. Pluta, Director, Division of Engineering and Mr. Melvin B. Humphrey, Bureau of Design and Administration submitted to the Board for approval an easement and right-of-way along Inwood Road. They advised that the parcel of property involved is the north twenty (20) feet of Irish Hills property and will give the City a forty (40) foot right-of-way along Inwood Road. It was noted that the Easement was signed by Mr. Edward Ravitz, Agent, Edward Rose of Indiana.. Upon a motion made by Ms. Barnard, seconded by Mr. Leszczynski and carried, the Easement as submitted was accepted and approved. BLOCK PARTY REQUESTS REFERRED Upon a motion made by Mr. Leszczynski, seconded by Ms. Barnard and carried, the following block party requests were referred to the Bureau of Traffic and Lighting and the Police Department Traffic Division for review and recommendation: 1 1 1
