In lieu of continuous spread footings and foundation <br />walls, place 8" x 36" grade beam between column <br />footings. Grade beam to be trenched, not formed: <br />Deduct from base bid: $2,100.00 <br />2. Delete finish painting of metal building. Factory primed <br />only. <br />Deduct from base bid: $4,170.00. <br />3. In lieu of R-30 roof insulation system and R-20 wall <br />insulation system, furnish and install R-19 roof <br />insulation and R-13 wall insulation. Also, in lieu of <br />the specified 100,000 BTU infrared heaters, furnish and <br />install 150,000 BTU infrared heaters (to be chosen by <br />mechanical contractor). These will probably be required <br />by reduced R-factors. <br />Deduct from base bid: $9,780.00. <br />4. In lieu of the three (3) specified overhead doors and <br />operators, furnish and install Series 591 Thermocore <br />doors by Overhead Door Company.
