REGULAR MEETING <br />JUNE 1, 1992 <br />Bike Race Criterium and Rollerblade`Race <br />July 4, 1992 12:00 noon - 7:00 p.m. <br />(St. Joseph, Western, Columbia & Wayne - around St. <br />Joseph Towers) <br />Peru Hall of Fame Circus <br />July 3-5, 1992 Six performances <br />Century Center Park Lot <br />Festival 4 Run <br />July 3, 1992 Start 7:00 p.m. <br />(Same route as last year - Howard Park, Northside <br />Boulevard) <br />Shuttle <br />July 3, 4, & 5, 1992 <br />Times and Routes to be determined <br />Mr. Williams also requested that the following streets be <br />closed in conjunction with festival activities: <br />CLOSINGS: <br />- Monday, June 29, 1992 <br />Michigan Street between Washington & Jefferson Boulevard <br />Electrical boxes only on Monday <br />- Tuesday, June 30, 1992 <br />Michigan Street between Wayne and Western Avenue <br />- Wednesday, July 1, 1992 <br />Michigan Street between Jefferson Boulevard and Wayne <br />Thursday, July 2, 1992 <br />Michigan Street between Washington and Colfax <br />NO PARKING <br />- All of the above streets plus <br />At 12:00 noon on Friday, July 3, - Sunday, July 5, 1992 at <br />midnight all side streets along festival area as determined <br />by the Police Department. <br />- Saturday, July 4, 1992 from 6:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon <br />East Jefferson Boulevard along the parade route <br />In conclusion, Mr. Williams advised that the Office of <br />Community Affairs has letters of indemnification from all <br />owners of private property that will be affected during <br />the festival. Also, they will utilize the Shopper's lot, the <br />two (2) lots adjacent to the Center City Associates Building <br />and the Baer's lot for different entertainment stages and <br />parking for vendors. <br />- OF RIVER PARK BUSINESS <br />ASSOCIATION TO CONDUCT <br />PARADE - <br />AUGUST 22, 1992 <br />In a letter to the Board, <br />Business Association, <br />Ms. Fay Williams, River <br />2310 Mishawaka Avenue, <br />Park <br />South Bend, <br />Indiana, advised that <br />the Association will be <br />conducting <br />their River Park Days <br />on Friday and Saturday, <br />August 21-22, <br />1992. <br />The River Park Parade will be held on August 22, 1992. The <br />parade will line up from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in the IUSB <br />Parking lot. The parade will begin at 9:00 a.m. from the <br />IUSB parking lot and march East on Mishawaka Avenue to 36th <br />Street. At this time it appears that the parade will consist <br />of fifty plus (50+) units. Therefore, the Association is <br />requesting permission to block the flow of traffic on <br />Mishawaka Avenue during the time of the parade. <br />
