483 <br />REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 25.1995 <br />FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE AN ALLEY <br />Mr. Caldwell indicated that the Common Council has submitted to the Board a Vacation Petition as <br />completed by Mr. Wayne Currey, 1050 Burns Avenue, South Bend, Indiana to vacate the following <br />alley: <br />The first east -west alley north of State Road 23 from the east right-of-way line of North <br />Burns Street to the west right-of-way line of the first north -south alley east of North Burns <br />Street for a distance of approximately 118 feet and a width of approximately 10 feet. Part <br />situated in Hartman and Miller's Plat in the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />Mr. Caldwell advised that the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations concerning this <br />Vacation Petition from the Area Plan Commission, Police Department, Fire Department, Sanitation, <br />Department of Economic Development and the Department of Public Works. Therefore, Mr. <br />Caldwell made a motion that the Board send a favorable recommendation to the Common Council <br />concerning this Vacation Petition. Mrs. Manier seconded the motion which carried. <br />FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE AN ALLEY <br />Mr. Caldwell indicated that the Common Council has submitted to the Board a Vacation Petition as <br />completed by Mr. James Lypout, University of Notre Dame, 307 Main Building, Notre Dame, <br />Indiana to vacate the following alley: <br />the first east -west alley orth of State Road 23 from the east right-of-way line of North Duey <br />Street to the west right-of-way line of the first north -south alley east of North Duey Street <br />for a distance of approximately 118 feet and a width of approximately 10 feet. Part situated <br />in Hartman and Woodworth's Plat in the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />Mr. Caldwell advised that the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations concerning this <br />Vacation Petition from the Area Plan Commission, Police Department, Fire Department, Sanitation, <br />Department of Economic Development and the Department of Public Works. It was noted that <br />approval is subject to the petitioner providing access to the property from the alley. Therefore, Mr. <br />Caldwell made a motion that the Board send a favorable recommendation, subject to the above <br />referred to condition, to the Common Council concerning this Vacation Petition. Mrs. Manier <br />seconded the motion which carried. <br />FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE AN ALLEY <br />Mr. Caldwell indicated that the Common Council has submitted to the Board a Vacation Petition as <br />completed by the Greater New Vision M.B.C., 1416 Linden, South Bend, Indiana to vacate the <br />following alley: <br />the first east -west alley north of Lincoln Way West from the east right-of-way line of North Johnson <br />Street to the west right-of-way line of the first north -south alley east of North Johnson Street for a <br />distance of approximately 124 feet and a width of approximately 14 feet. Part situated in <br />Augustine's Addition to the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana. <br />Mr. Caldwell advised that the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations concerning this <br />Vacation Petition from the Area Plan Commission, Police Department, Fire Department, Sanitation, <br />Department of Economic Development and the Department of Public Works. Therefore, Mr. <br />Caldwell made a motion that the Board send a favorable recommendation to the Common Council <br />concerning this Vacation Petition. Mrs. Manier seconded the motion which carried. <br />FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE AN ALLEY <br />Mr. Caldwell indicated that the Common Council has submitted to the Board a Vacation Petition as <br />completed by Mr. Gregory and Alice Aldreidge, 1323 North Ironwood Drive, and Ms. Virginia <br />Buszkiewicz, 615 North Ironwood Drive, South Bend, Indiana to vacate the following alley: <br />
