Mr. Gilot seconded the motion, which carried. BID AWARD - FREDRICKSON PARK NORTH EXTENSION CLOSURE AND GAS EXTRACTION SYSTEM - PROJECT NO. 103-018 Mr. Gilot stated the bid award would be held until the Board reconvened on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at 4:15 p.m. BID AWARD -FIVE (5) DUMP BODIES MOUNTED ON TANDEM AXLE CHASSIS Mr. Matt Chlebowski, Central Services, stated on June 26, 2006, the Board of Public Works awarded the above referenced equipment to Deeds Equipment, 7720 Records Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, in the amount of $71,220.00. On August 22, 2006, Central Services received notice that Deeds Equipment was no longer in business. On September 1, 2006, Central Services received notice that Jack Doheny Supplies, Inc., Northville, Michigan, purchased all assets from Deeds Equipment, and would honor the bid award. Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the Board reaffirmed the bid award of $71,220.00 to Jack Doheny Supplies, Inc./Deeds Equipment, subject to the submittal of a Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the bid amount. ~~~
