Inks, Member <br />ATTEST: <br />ac ,Clerk <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />OCTOBER 9.2006 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:35a.m. on Monday, <br />October 9, 2006, by Board President Gary A. Gilot, with Board member Donald E. Inks <br />present. Board Member Carl P. Littrell was not present. Also present was Board <br />Attorney Thomas Bodnar. <br />AGENDA ITEMS ADDED <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the following items <br />were added to the agenda: <br />-Resolution No. 58-2006 <br />-Bid Award -Fredrickson Park North Extension Closure/Gas Extraction System <br />APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Gilot, and carried, the minutes of the <br />public agenda session, the regular meeting and a special meeting of the Board held on <br />September 21, 25 and October 1, 2006, were approved. <br />OPENING OF QUOTATIONS - WESTERN AVENUE TRAFFIC MEDIAN <br />MAINTENANCE - PROJECT NO 106-079 (GOOD NEIGHBORS/GOOD <br />NEIGHBORHOODS COMMERCIAL CORRIDORS IMPROVEMENT/WESTERN <br />AVENUE <br />Mr. Gilot advised that this was the date set for the receiving and opening of sealed <br />Quotations for the above referenced project. The following Quotation was opened and <br />read: <br />SHADES OF GREEN,_INC. <br />13495 East Jefferson Boulevard <br />Mishawaka, Indiana 46545 <br />Quotation was submitted by Shades of Green, Inc. <br />QUOTATION: $1,979.59 <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the above <br />Quotation was referred to Community and Economic Development for review and <br />recommendation. <br />AWARD BIDS -ABANDONED VEHICLES <br />Mr. Gary Libbey, Code Enforcement, advised the Board that on September 25, 2006, bids <br />were received and opened for the above referred to vehicles. After reviewing those bids, <br />Mr. Libbey recommends that the Board award the vehicles to the highest bidders as <br />follows: <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
