U~4 REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 9.2006 TABLE AGREEMENT -SEWER CONTRACT EXTENSIONS - TERRE VERDE HILLS SUBDIVISION - PORTAGE REALTY CORPORATION - REIMBURSEMENT Upon a motion by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried the Agreement for Sewer Contract Extensions for the. Terre Verde Hills Subdivision was tabled. TABLE AGREEMENT -WATER CONTRACT EXTENSIONS - TERRE VERDE HILLS SUBDNISION - PORTAGE REALTY CORPORATION - ' REIMBURSEMENT Upon a motion by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried the Agreement for Water Contract Extensions for the Terre Verde Hills Subdivision was tabled. CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT - STUDEBAKER DEMOLITION "A" PHASE 1 J&L MANAGEMENT -PROJECT NO. 104-030 (HUD FUNDSICOIT/GENERAL FUND/CRED) Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of the Performance and Maintenance Bonds from J&L Management for the above referred to Contract. Mr. Gilot noted that the Performance Bond was not in the amount 125% as required by contract. No further action was taken. The Clerk was instructed to return the Performance Bond to J&L Management by overnight mail. APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT RIGHT TO LIFE MARCH -KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and Lighting, Park Department, Police Department .and the City Attorney's office, in reference to a request as submitted by Mr. Kevin Large, The Knights of Columbus, 553 East Washington Street, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to procession on January 15, 2006, from 1:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the designated route as submitted. Upon a motion made by Mr. Litrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the recommendation was approved. APPROVE TRAFFIC CONROL DEVICES Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the following traffic control devices were approved. New Installation - 617 West Washington All Criteria Has Been Met. Handicapped Accessible Parking S ace Signs New Installation - 1027 Stanfield All Criteria Has Been Met. Handicapped Accessible Parkin Space Signs New Installation -1 Hour North Side of East Wayne All Criteria Has Been Met. Parking for Business Turn Street West to 1015 East Over Wa a -Erasmus Books New Installation - 916 North Jacob Street Denied, Resident Has Handicapped Accessible Driveway. Parking S ace Signs FILING OF SAFETY REPORTS -DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS The Division of Environmental Services, Street Department, Division of Engineering, Water Works and Equipment Services submitted Safety Reports for December 2005. FILING OF MONTHLY REPORT -ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES These reports will reflect injuries/accidents for each month and provide for a comparison. There being no further discussion, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the reports were accepted and filed. Mr. Jack Dillon, Director of Environmental Services, submitted a report for the Division of Environmental Services, for the Wastewater Treatment Plant, Organic Resources, Solid Waste and Sewer Repair, for the month of December 2005. There being no further discussion, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littxell and carried, the monthly reports were accepted and filed.
