U~4 <br />REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 9.2006 <br />TABLE AGREEMENT -SEWER CONTRACT EXTENSIONS - TERRE VERDE <br />HILLS SUBDIVISION - PORTAGE REALTY CORPORATION - <br />REIMBURSEMENT <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried the Agreement for Sewer <br />Contract Extensions for the. Terre Verde Hills Subdivision was tabled. <br />TABLE AGREEMENT -WATER CONTRACT EXTENSIONS - TERRE VERDE <br />HILLS SUBDNISION - PORTAGE REALTY CORPORATION - ' <br />REIMBURSEMENT <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried the Agreement for Water <br />Contract Extensions for the Terre Verde Hills Subdivision was tabled. <br />CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT - STUDEBAKER DEMOLITION "A" PHASE 1 <br />J&L MANAGEMENT -PROJECT NO. 104-030 (HUD FUNDSICOIT/GENERAL <br />FUND/CRED) <br />Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of the Performance and Maintenance Bonds <br />from J&L Management for the above referred to Contract. Mr. Gilot noted that the <br />Performance Bond was not in the amount 125% as required by contract. No further <br />action was taken. The Clerk was instructed to return the Performance Bond to J&L <br />Management by overnight mail. <br />APPROVAL OF RECOMMENDATION - TO CONDUCT RIGHT TO LIFE MARCH <br />-KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS <br />Mr. Gilot stated that favorable recommendations have been received by Traffic and <br />Lighting, Park Department, Police Department .and the City Attorney's office, in <br />reference to a request as submitted by Mr. Kevin Large, The Knights of Columbus, 553 <br />East Washington Street, South Bend, Indiana, to conduct the above referred to procession <br />on January 15, 2006, from 1:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the designated route as submitted. <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Litrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the <br />recommendation was approved. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the following <br />traffic control devices were approved. <br />New Installation - 617 West Washington All Criteria Has Been Met. <br />Handicapped Accessible <br />Parking S ace Signs <br />New Installation - 1027 Stanfield All Criteria Has Been Met. <br />Handicapped Accessible <br />Parkin Space Signs <br />New Installation -1 Hour North Side of East Wayne All Criteria Has Been Met. <br />Parking for Business Turn Street West to 1015 East <br />Over Wa a -Erasmus Books <br />New Installation - 916 North Jacob Street Denied, Resident Has <br />Handicapped Accessible Driveway. <br />Parking S ace Signs <br />FILING OF SAFETY REPORTS -DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />The Division of Environmental Services, Street Department, Division of Engineering, <br />Water Works and Equipment Services submitted Safety Reports for December 2005. <br />FILING OF MONTHLY REPORT -ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES <br />These reports will reflect injuries/accidents for each month and provide for a comparison. <br />There being no further discussion, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. <br />Inks and carried, the reports were accepted and filed. <br />Mr. Jack Dillon, Director of Environmental Services, submitted a report for the Division <br />of Environmental Services, for the Wastewater Treatment Plant, Organic Resources, <br />Solid Waste and Sewer Repair, for the month of December 2005. There being no further <br />discussion, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littxell and carried, the <br />monthly reports were accepted and filed. <br />
