<br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Mr. Roles and carried, the above Quotations
<br />were referred to Central Services for review and recommendation.
<br />AWARD BID — WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT BELT FILTER PRESS
<br />REHABILITATION — PROJECT NO. 115-082 (ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES)
<br />Mr. Jacob Klosinski, Environmental Services, advised the Board that on September 22, 2015,
<br />bids were received and opened for the above referenced project. After reviewing those bids, Mr.
<br />Klosinski recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and
<br />responsible bidder Alfa Laval, Inc., 11600 East Hardy Road, Houston, Texas 77093, in the
<br />amount of $188,087.00 for the Base Bid plus all Alternates. Therefore, Mr. Relos made a motion
<br />that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Ms. Maradik
<br />seconded the motion, which carried. -'—
<br />AWARD BID — 2015/2016 ROAD SALT — PROJECT NO. 115-107 (STREETS AND SEWER

<br />Mr. Roger Nawrot, Engineering, advised the Board that on September 22, 2015, bids were
<br />received and opened for the above referenced material. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Nawrot
<br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
<br />Cargill, Inc., Deicing Technology Business Unit, 24950 Country Club Boulevard, Suite 450,
<br />North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 in the unit price amount of S70.17 per ton. Therefore, Ms. Maradik
<br />made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above.

<br />received and opened for the above referenced project. After reviewing those bids, Mr. Carey
<br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
<br />Midland Engineering Company, Inc., 52369 State Road 933 North, South Bend, Indiana 46637,
<br />in the amount of $334,350.00. Therefore, Mr. Relos made a motion that the recommendation be
<br />accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Ms. Maradik seconded the motion, which
<br />carried. _.

<br />Ms. Blair Bennett, Engineering, advised the Board that on October 8, 2015, one bid was received
<br />and opened for the above referenced project. After reviewing that bid, Ms. Bennett
<br />recommended that the Board award the contract to the sole responsive and responsible bidder,
<br />Ram Construction Services of Michigan, Inc., 13800 Eckles Road, Livona, Michigan, in the
<br />amount of $261,962,50 for Division A, Alternate 1. Therefore, Mr. Relos made a motion that the
<br />recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded as outlined above. Ms. Maradik seconded
<br />the motion, which carried.
