may establish or re-establish the location of any preferential inter- <br /> , section by ordinance duly enacted. <br /> Preferential intersections are hereby established at the <br /> following points, according to the following regulation: <br /> Notre Dame Avenue shall be preferential at the intersection <br /> of South Bend Avenue with Notre Dame Avenue. <br /> Notre Dame Avenue shall be preferential at the intersection <br /> of Corby Street with Notre Dame Avenue. <br /> Indiana Avenue shall be preferential at the intersection of <br /> Fellow Street with Indiana Avenue. <br /> Section 14. All Streets Preferential as to Alleys. -- No <br /> person shall drive any vehicle from any alley, court or driveway into <br /> a public street without first bringing such vehicle to a full stop <br /> at the approaching boundary or property line of such street. After making <br /> such stop, the vehicle shall be driven into the street with proper I <br /> consideration for the safety of pedestrians and vehicles upon such street, <br /> all streets being preferential over all alleys, courts- and driveways-. <br /> Section 15. Parallel Parking -- Angle Parkin,. -- All <br /> vehicles shall be parked parallel with the curb upon all streets of <br /> the 'city; provided, that angle parking at 30 degrees with the curb <br /> shall be permissable on Michigan Street from Monroe Street to South <br /> Street, and from a point two hundred eighty feet south from the south <br /> • line of Bronson Street to Ohio Street on the east side of Michigan <br /> Street and to Garst Street on the west side of Michigan Street; provided <br /> further that the Board of Public Safety in cases of emergency or public <br /> necessity may temporarily provide, by proper pavement markings, for 30. <br /> degree angle parking on other streets or at other points outside of the <br /> Vehicular Loop, until such time as the Common Council shall change or <br /> establish by ordinance such temporary regulations; and provided further, <br /> _ I <br /> that where the curb is set back from the established curb line of any <br /> street where parallel parking only is permitted, vehicles may park at <br /> an angle when not so parked as to project over the sidewalk or into the <br /> street a greater distance than 7 feet from such established curb line. <br /> -6- <br />
