It shall be the duty of the Plumbing Inspector of the City of South Bend to do all things re- quired of him to be done as set forth in the various sections of this Ordinance. Section XXIX. All plumbing or drainage work for which a permit is issued by the Plumbing Inspector must be inspected by him. Section XXX. The Inspector must be notified by the master plumber in charge of the work when the work is ready for inspection. All work must be left uncovered and convenient for examination until inspected and approved. No notice shall be sent for any inspection until the work is entirely ready for thorough inspection. The Journeyman Plumber making the installation must be on the premises at the time this inspection is made by the Plumbing Inspect- or. Section XXXI. All notices herein required to be given to the plumbing inspector shall be in writing on blank forms to be prepared and furnished by such inspector at his office. Such Inspector shall number same in the order received, and shall make inspection of the work herein referred to in the order in which such notices are received as nearly as may be practicable and as soon as possible.
