-g- <br />The Plumbing Inspector shall be appointed by the Board of <br />Health and shall hold office at the will of the appointing <br />board, or until his successor is appointed and qualified. <br />He shall be a practical plumber who has had at least ten <br />(10) years actual experience either as a plumber or as an <br />inspector of plumbing and shall also be a resident of the <br />City of South Bend. The present encumbent of such office <br />shall hold the same under the provisions of this ordinance. <br />Section XXIII. Salary of Plumbing Inspector. The <br />annual salary of the Plumbing Inspector shall be Two Thousand <br />Four Hundred ($2,400.00) Dollars per year, payable from the <br />City Treasurer as other salaries are paid. <br />Section XXIV. Necessity of bond. The Plumbing Inspect- <br />or shall execute a bond in the penal sum of Two Thousand <br />($2,000.00) Dollars, which said bond shall be approved by <br />the City Comptroller for the faithful performance of his <br />duty and shall be executed by some surety company approved <br />by the City Comptroller. <br />Section XXV& wherever the word "Inspector" or "Plumbing <br />Inspector" is used in this Ordinance it shall be construed to <br />mean the Plumbing inspector of the City of South Bend. <br />Section XXVI. Fees. All fees collected by the Inspect- <br />or shall, at the end of each month, be paid to the County <br />Treasurer, acting as City Treausrer, and he shall at the <br />same time file with the City Comptroller a report showing <br />the number of permits issued, and the fees received therefor, <br />together with the Treasurerts receipt for the same. He <br />shall also at the end of each year, or sooner if requested <br />make a report and review of his work to the Board of Health. <br />Section XXVII. Duty. The Plumbing Inspector is hereby <br />directed to prepare forms for all applications, permits, <br />notices or other statements required by this ordinance and to <br />
