-7- <br />that the following work may be done under the supervision <br />of a licensed master plumber in which case a permit need <br />not be obtained; any repairs not effecting sanitation such as <br />mending leaks in soil, waste or vent pipes; faucets, valves <br />or water pipes, mending or replacing broken fixtures, <br />closet bowls, tanks, kitchen boilers, or removing stoppage <br />or releasing frozen pipes, and it shall be unlawful for <br />any person to do, cause, suffer or permit to be done any <br />work other than that herein specified without permit. <br />Section XX. Fee for permit. A fee shall be charged <br />for each permit issued. This fee shall be a minimum of <br />One ($1.50) Dollar and fifty cents and shall be paid into <br />the office of the Plumbing Inspector. This minimum fee <br />shall cover four (4) trap or vented fixtures, in excess <br />of four (4) the Plumbing Inspector shall make a charge of <br />fifty (50�) cents. In determining the amount to be paid <br />the following shall count as one fixture: water closet, <br />bath tub, wash basin, sink, urinal, set of laundry trays, <br />slop sink, refrigerator, soda fountain, drinking fountain, <br />shower bath, bar fixture, dental cuspidor, gas water heater, <br />floor drain and any trap except area drain; also any opening <br />into a soil or waste pipe roughed in for the future installa- <br />tion of any of the aforegoing named fixtures shall be counted <br />as a fixture. <br />Section XXI. Permit necessary. The master plumber <br />shall, before starting any work contemplated under this <br />ordinance, obtain a permit, which said permit shall be <br />placed in a conspicuous place on the building where the <br />plumbing work is being performed and which said permit shall <br />be properly signed and filled out by the master plumber in <br />whose name the permit was issued.. <br />Section XXII. Plumbing Inspector appointment and duties. <br />
