-6- <br />Section XVI. Fees for services. That the plumbing <br />contractor, and the journeyman plumber, composing with the <br />plumbing inspector, the Examining Board herein created, <br />shall such receive as compensation for services rendered <br />in connection with examination of applications in the <br />plumbing trade either as Master Plumbers or Journeyman <br />Plumbers, each the sum of Five ($5.00) Dollars from each <br />applicant. This fee shall be payable as other contractual <br />obligations of the city are now payable. The fee of <br />Fifteen ($15.00) Dollars paid by the applicant at the <br />time of the filing the application for examination shall <br />be deposited by the Board of Health the same as other <br />receipts by said Board are now deposited with the City <br />Comptroller. <br />Section XVII. License non - transferable. Any <br />license secured by any Journeyman or Master Plumber under <br />said ordinance is non - transferable and it shall be unlaw- <br />ful to loan or transfer such a plumbing license or to <br />allow any one to work under a plumbing license held by <br />another. <br />Section XVIII. Certification of name. The Board of <br />Examiners, shall upon any applicant having passed an <br />examination given b y said Board certify to the Board of <br />Health the name of the applicant and state therein that <br />said applicant is entitled to a license as either a <br />Journeyman or Master Plumber, whereupon the Board of Health <br />shall direct the City Comptroller to issue the applicant <br />a license upon receipt Of the fee as herein specified. <br />Section XIX. Necessity of permit. It shall be un- <br />lawful to perform or do any plumbing or drainage within <br />the City of South Bend until application for a -permit to <br />do said work has been filed with the Plumbing Inspector <br />and a permit has been issued therefor, except, however, <br />
