-42- doing such work shall sign and execute a written report of such work giving:.name, street and number of the premises where such work was done and performed, the size and location of the tap, location of service pipe and service box, between the main and consumer's property, the number and kind of fixture, if fixtures are installed for the use of more than one family or tenant, the number of such persons. Such Plumber shall file said written report with the inspector of plumbing, who shall examine same, and if he finds it to be correct, shall approve it and file the same with the Superintendent of Water Department, and it shall be a viola- tion of this ordinance for any person to file a false state- ment or report as to the number and kind of fixtures or the size and location of tap or service boxes. Section CLIX. Nothing in this ordinance shall be con- strued to apply to any connections with the water system of this city which are made by the department for the opera- tion of its plant. Section CLX. No service pipe shall be installed to or into any building or property smaller than 3/4" internal diameter. Section CLXI. That hereafter all water heaters burning gas or other combustible material installed shall be pro- vided with a vent pipe connected to a flue that has a Positive updraft which will remove dangerous products of combustion. Section CLXII. All gas supply valved to water heaters must be provided with a controlling device to prevent ex- plosions of range or domestic boilers and which will prevent a back flow of hot water through cold water supply. The said controlling device shall be approved by the Plumbing` Inspector. Section CLXIII. Slip joints shall not be permitted
